Shoot-O-Ree is a special event for Registered Cub Scouts 1st thru 5th grade, to earn their Range and Target Activity Adventure Loops. We will offer BB, Archery, and Sling Shot programs for all attendees. This event offers the Cubs the opportunity to earn all three Range and Target Activity Adventures in one place, have fun, and spend a day at Pine Ridge. We may even have some fun challenges at our ranges during the event.
All participants will need a water container. Water will be provided, but no personal containers will be available.
Participants and guardians need to bring a lunch for this event.
No personal shooting equipment is allowed.
Though not required, we would encourage the Scouts to wear their Field (“class A”) uniform shirt and Neckerchief.
Please dress for the weather, and having a hat, sunscreen, and bug spray is advisable.
A parent/guardian or unit leader must accompany scouts during the Shoot-O-Ree, no “drop-offs”.
Adults may want to bring some sort of camp chair
Overnight camping is not planned for this event due to other activities that are happening at Pine Ridge. If you need lodging or nearby camping recommendations, please get in touch with our event coordinators. There are ample resources in our Pine Ridge Camp community to accommodate your needs.
