2026 Big Muddy District Hike
Scouts, families, and friends from across all Scouting Districts are invited to join the Big Muddy District for our annual District Hike at Pyramid State Recreation Area. Come out for a day that is all about enjoying the outdoors together and making new memories. Units and families are encouraged to hike as little or as much as they want. Plus, every participant will also receive a unique patch designed by one of our very own Big Muddy Scouts. Please Note: registration is only available online and cannot be completed on site, so be sure to sign up ahead of time!

WHERE: Pyramid State Recreation Area, Pine Grove Group Picnic Area, 1562 Pyramid Park Rd, Pinckneyville, IL 62274
COST: $4 per Person (includes patch) / $3 for additional patches
What To Bring:
Heath Forms Part A & B will be required by all in attendance.
